Canon PIXMA iP3000 Printer Driver
The print quality is great and I do all my own photos and they look good. The ink cartridges are easy to refill so that saves me a fair bit of money.
I would definitely recommend this printer to others. It is the best value printer I have ever bought. Cheap to buy, easy to use, still going strong after a lot of use, the overall print quality is excellent nothing at all, there are no drawbacks that I have found and I have had the printer for several years. The ip may be used as a photo printer, but do not expect amazing results.
Canon PIXMA iP3000 Printer wife finds it adequate for scrapbooking but for something like a wedding album this would not really be up to standard.

The printer is pretty reliable though, so I would recommend it as an inexpensive entry level photo printer. Separate ink tanks better than multiple colours Haven't found any bad things GameFreak OK Overall i would buy this printer small doesn't take a lot of space low cost of toner and fast prints great family photos. This printer is very fast and rarely paper get stuck Canon PIXMA iP3000 Printer use a lot of toner the photo comes out great shiny.
The thing i really don't like about it its not wireless so i can't be another room printing but not really a problem.
Kate OK I loved this printer when I bought it - it does photos beautifully and the duplex was a fantastic option. When I ran out of colour it didn't bother me too much because I assumed I could just keep printing in Canon PIXMA iP3000 Printer and white. While that works fine with text, images don't print properly at all.
Instead of a crisp black and white finish, I get the Canon PIXMA iP3000 Printer outlines of the image. I've fiddled with the machine as much as I can but no luck, it needs colour ink tanks to print black and white Canon PIXMA iP3000 Printer. That's a huge waste of money in my opinion and while it's a great photo printer, I wouldn't go buying it for lecture notes. My next printer will be a black and white laser. Singod2 Excellent Very decent printer, I have the exact same thing on my computer.
It does its job extremely well, I wouldn't have anything else to use for a printer. I have never ever ever ever in my lifetime seen such a top performance piece of work.
The quality of the printing process, such as the speed and color quality is just remarkable. I wouldn't trade this printer for anything else in the world or in its class for that matter.

So overall, if you guys are looking for Canon PIXMA iP3000 Printer following things in a printer: Quality, Variety, and Convenience, than this is the printer you have been looking for all of your life. I like that it is a fast printer.
I personally have this same exact make and or model of the same type of printer. I love how it functions, it is just a very unique quality to have.
The only thing I dislike about this printer model and or make if you will. Is that it does not come in a decent variety of colors.
I was looking for a blue printer of this make and or model, but it turns it they only come in gray and or white packages. Over two years old, lots of printing photos and uni assignments, and Canon PIXMA iP3000 Printer going strong.
Answered on Aug 07, Operator error. I tried all the reset codes and so forth you might find on other otherwise useful forums, and i have successfully modded 5 of these to print on DVDs, but this "operator error" and five yellow flashing lights was a tough nut to crack. I was about to give up and toss it when I tried one more thing and it works!
With the cartridges removed and the printhead carrier in Canon PIXMA iP3000 Printer central position, press the empty printhead's back gently but firmly about a dozen times back against the printhead carrier, pushing it in toward the rear of the printer.

I think this may help improve a bad contact between the half a dozen or so rows of little metal contacts on the Canon PIXMA iP3000 Printer and their corresponding protruding little metal pins on the printhead carrier. It feels a little spongy you can feel some give as you push it in toward the rear of the printer and it gently springs back forward.
This solved it for me.
